    Easter Sunday

I woke up this morning in beautiful Washington, D.C. We’re only on the ground for about 9 hours so no time to tour the city! This morning, the drive to the airport around 7:30 was delightful as the city was alive with the sights and smells of the cherry blossoms. Pink and white trees were everywhere. The grass was green, the trees were all budding and spring was in the air. A lovely Easter morning, for sure. On the nearly 4 hour flight back to Denver, I talked with a lawyer/lobbyer from DC and CO. Most interesting gentleman. Had a great time make baby Grant laugh as he and his parents were flying to Colorado for a 4 generation Easter dinner….the first grand child on both parents side. Can’t wait for ‘our’ little baby Lily to show her tiny face. Any day now……

    Hoppy Easter, Everyone!

I had a great two hour lunch today….with….my son, Ross! What a joy! A stranger would have had a very hard time trying to keep up with the constant chatter. He is, as many of you know, a flight attendant with Frontier, just as his mother is. That’s a whole other BLOG. We shared stories of flights, passengers, flight attendants; we caught up on a myriad of subjects; we laughed and we had a great burger and fries at Rodney’s in Tamarac Square. Yummmmm. It reminds me why I am so blessed to be the mother to my dear, precious sons. Nothing makes me happier than when I am in the presence of one or both of them. Ross’s brother, Cole, lives in Alaska so it’s a rare day when I can have a lunch with him! But, talk, we do! As I prepare my bags to leave for a flight in the morning I’m feeling blessed! I’m one lucky mom!

      Hoppy Easter, Mar’!

Seems we spent many early morning Easters together…my sister reminded me about the sunrise service, the breakfasts, and then the riding around the town, or to the lake between that and REAL church and Sunday School…won’t be long until the RF’s will be gathering…should be a fun weekend!

    Spring is here!

It’s spring! It is the best time in all the year, as far as I’m concerned! Everything is new and bright. Trees are beginning to bud. Flowers will soon give us all the colors of the rainbow. It just doesn’t get any better than this.
I am sleeping tonight in the “City By The Bay”….San Francisco. Flowers are in bloom here always and the sea is right near our hotel. Lovely! Hope you are enjoying all the newness that spring has to offer. Make this a time for you to “start over,” take a look at something old with a “new eye.” This is a great season to follow your heart and live your dreams.

    The view above the clouds…..

Sometimes I forget…sometimes I just don’t have time…but I have to tell you, the other day I was flying….let’s see, where was I?..oh ya, I was flying from Denver to Los Angeles (and back again).  It was late in the afternoon when we left Denver.  By the time I had a chance to glance out the window, the sight just took my breath away.  There we were, soaring about 37,000 feet above the Grand Canyon!  It was dark at the bottom but the sun was hitting the very tops of the ridges and it was spectacular!  The colors were amazing! I had just enough time to take in the view, take a deep breath, say a quiet ‘thanks” for this job, and then I was back to the reality in the cabin.  One has to take those moments when they come by!  How was your day?

I have known Mary for many years, long before she became an author, and have always found her to be a lovely, intelligent, gracious, and loving person. Her writings reflect those qualities. Her books are inspiring, as is she, by giving us permission to follow our dreams. She has become one of the most interesting motivational speakers I’ve heard in a long time. We hope you continue along the path of helping others.
