    The view above the clouds…..

Sometimes I forget…sometimes I just don’t have time…but I have to tell you, the other day I was flying….let’s see, where was I?..oh ya, I was flying from Denver to Los Angeles (and back again).  It was late in the afternoon when we left Denver.  By the time I had a chance to glance out the window, the sight just took my breath away.  There we were, soaring about 37,000 feet above the Grand Canyon!  It was dark at the bottom but the sun was hitting the very tops of the ridges and it was spectacular!  The colors were amazing! I had just enough time to take in the view, take a deep breath, say a quiet ‘thanks” for this job, and then I was back to the reality in the cabin.  One has to take those moments when they come by!  How was your day?

I have known Mary for many years, long before she became an author, and have always found her to be a lovely, intelligent, gracious, and loving person. Her writings reflect those qualities. Her books are inspiring, as is she, by giving us permission to follow our dreams. She has become one of the most interesting motivational speakers I’ve heard in a long time. We hope you continue along the path of helping others.

Ah Mary – to fly above the clouds when I know you shared with me a while back just how afraid you used to be to fly … well … you’re a shining example of GETTING OUT OF YOUR BOXX! Keep inspiring others.

Speaker, Author & Flight Attendant Mary Carwile

Hello, and welcome aboard my Blog!  As an author, speaker, breast cancer survivor, wife, mother, soon-to-be grandMary….and flight attendant…I will be sharing with you the landscape…and skyscape…that makes up my life. One day you might read something I just wrote;  another day you’ll see that I plan to speak in your city; maybe I’ll show you the view out my porthole window as I’m flying 35,000 feet above the earth.  Never a dull moment here!  Soar with me; share with me.  Whether you’re an aspiring writer or just wishing to be; if you’re terrified to fly or have always dreamed of being a flight attendant, or if you just need to be inspired to find a new path in your life, I think we’ll have plenty to chat about.  So, come on board.  We’re ready to take flight.
